What is a Legionella Remediation?

A remediation is a process that is designed to clean and sanitize a plumbing system. Be it a potable system, or even a non-potable system that may be contaminated with, particularly, Legionella and or other waterborne pathogens. Any building that has a centralized hot water system can be subject to having a remediation performed. That can be anywhere from a hotel to a convention center, to a stadium, to skilled nursing facilities, to even hospitals. Those are all the types of buildings that have centralized plumbing systems. Even corporate office spaces, they have those centralized hot water systems. So those are the types of buildings that we look at and help deal with on a daily basis.

If you find yourself in need of a remediation, then you want to make sure that you have somebody that is knowledgeable of the CDC guidelines and who is very well aware of what they require in order to complete a remediation within your facility.
